ubuntu lazarus zeos are equal problem

I am using Lazarus 0.9.22 beta on Ubuntu 7.1

I try to install ZEOSDBO-6.6.2-rc on my Lazarus and try to instal lpk
files for the following order.

- zcore (success)
- zparsesql (success)
- zplain (failed)
- zdbc (failed)
- zcomponent (failed)

message when (failed) is;
/usr/lib/lazarus/components/zeosdbo/src/plain/ZPlainLoader.pas(1,1)
Fatal: Can't find unit libc

I have login with root user so I dont think that the reason is
privilages.

what can I do for this?

Check under /usr/lib/fpc/fpcversion/units/arch-os/, are libc.ppu and
libc.o there?
If yes, check your fpc.cfg (make it if you don't have one already),
usually under /etc and make sure you see lines of -Fu that points to
directory above.
Else, please compile them yourself. Try to find the source under fpc
source directory.
