Where is defined TGtkDeviceContext? lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- luigi65 · 2008-02-23 13:35 I try to install the package LazRGBGraphics under Fedora 8 + Lazarus 0.9.24 (32bit & also 64bit), but I obtain always the error: "/usr/lib/lazarus/components/LazRGBGraphics/rgbgtkroutines.pas(65,20) Error: identifier not found: TGtkDeviceContext". I search where this is defined but I don't find it. Can anyone help me? Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- luigi65 · 2008-02-24 10:48 I have resolved installing the daily snapshots 0.9.25Beta, in fact now there is the file gtkdevicecontext.inc under the directory /usr/lib/lazarus/lcl/interfaces/gtk. This is a new only on 0.9.25 or higher? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- panoss · 2011-02-21 07:09 I also get the same message (/usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.28.2/examples/lazpai nt1.9/bgrabitmap/bgragtkbitmap.pas(131,38) Error: Identifier not found "TGtkDeviceContext") trying to install Lazpaint. The file gtkdevicecontext.inc is in the folder /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.28.2/lcl/interfaces/gtk. (I have ubuntu 9.10, Lazarus 0.9.28.2). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- circular · 2011-02-21 20:59 It has been renamed as TGtk2DeviceContext. But I'm not sure if it is always named like this, because some people have run the program with TGtkDeviceContext. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc · 2011-02-22 22:41 TGtkDeviceContext was defined for gtk1 and it is TGtk2DeviceContext for gtk 2. TBH, ppl should not mess with/use lcl internal classes. They may change without notice or backward compatibility
