Minimizing / restoring IDE windows lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech-pro · 2008-02-06 11:29 I'm running Lazarus under KDE. If I minimize Lazarus to clear the desktop then each window and form occupies its own button on the task bar (not a big deal) and to restore the IDE each button has to be clicked on separately (which is more of a pain.) Is there some configuration option I missed that will make it work as in MS Windows? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- antonio · 2008-02-07 13:10 You could try the bugtracker. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech-pro · 2008-02-08 16:49 Is this a bug, then? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- antonio · 2008-02-11 00:31 Your opinion is more important than the mine... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- OnixJr · 2008-02-11 04:23 QuoteYour opinion is more important than the mine... ??? tech-pro... I believe that is normal in GTK, but don't know in KDE... But each form has ShowInTaskBar property... Did you try use them (as stNever)? (ps: I don't have Linux/KDE installed to test this for you, sorry)... Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- osvaldo-tcf · 2008-02-11 12:55 Quote from: "antonio"Your opinion is more important than the mine... ??? Tech: On gnome occur too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech-pro · 2008-02-12 23:04 My distro uses KDE, but I rebuilded Lazarus with gtk2 to make it look decent, and I'm using that for my own apps as well. I'm not sure how I would change the ShowInTaskBar property. I use Build Lazarus from the menu, but I don't want to start modifying Lazarus itself. That's something I'll leave for the developers.
