need help,direct printing to lpt1/lp0 on linux ubuntu

I Creating a simple program with lazarus 9.20 on windows and recently
i trying to use my program in linux ubuntu 6.06.

and the problem is when i run my program on linux i can't print to
lpt1/lp0,
my program is working fine on windows, is any one know how to fix this
problem

oh yes i using synaser to connect to port.

You could use the printer.canvas object to print "directly", it should
work on Windows and Linux.

wow thnx lot bro for the reply.
but, i also need to sending data to communication port too, and it's
cannot be solve with TPrinter, any another advice.
