GTK2 vanished! lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hippy · 2006-11-11 12:23 Hi there I've just updated Lazarus to the latest svn version, and now I cannot compile any of my apps using GTK2. I get the Fatal: Can't find unit Interfaces error. I can't seem to find the GTK2 stuff, can anyone help? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hippy · 2006-11-11 12:44 I've found the interfaces source, compiled it using make install but still no joy ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2006-11-11 15:34 When ever you get a "Can't find unit Interfaces error." error, this means that the Lazarus widgetset you are compiling to, isn´t compiled. To fix this, open Lazarus, go to the Menu "Tools" --> "Configure Build Lazarus" Put everything to NONE, except LCL, which should be Clean+Build. Then Mark Gtk 2 option. Now build Lazarus (actually it will only build LCL, and not the entire Lazarus). Now compiling software for Gtk 2 should work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hippy · 2006-11-11 16:07 Thanks for your response, but I found the problem. I hadn't removed the RPM I had installed before compiling the svn source, so it wasn't looking in the right place for the interfaces. Once I had found the correct source I just ran make in the gtk2 directory and it's now working.
