ubuntu6.1 & AMD 64 ?

Trying to install Lazarus with Ubuntu 6.1 on Amd64 i get a "wrong
architecture i386" error. Is a patch (ia 64 ?) available ? Thanks.

Yes, the fpc team has released rpms for x86_64. The lazarus team
provides snapshots for x86_64, but no official releases.
