When linking a project: Can't find -lglib

After a lot of problems I finally installed Lazarus on Fedora Core 5.

But the problems isn't over yet, apparently. When trying to compile a
simple test project I got this:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lglib
test.lpr(17,1) Error: Error while linking

So what to do now?

Now I've compiled my first Lazarus project!  And it seems to work as
well
