lazarus under debian the characters are too small! lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ustak · 2006-10-01 17:35 Hi! I'm very new in lazarus, but I enjoy it so much. I'm new in Linux too, but I alredy tried my wings under debian. The lazarus works fine under it, but I don't understand, why the characters of the menus, and the messagedialgos, and the objec inspector are so small. It doesen't matter that I use Gnome or Kde, or change the theme, or change the system fonts height or anything. Maybe I'm missing something? Is there any confgiruation file, which helps the lazarus to chose the proper height of the used fonts? Off course I can change the resolution(1280X1024)of my LCD monitor, but I hope, that there is another way... I have the new lazarus 9.18. Thanks for your help! It works perfect! Thank you again! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- angman · 2006-10-16 10:02 I also, had that problem, and solved it installing the transcoded font package. The problem is due to the fact that if the ide does not find the prededefined font then use the first system font avaiable and with the first dimension supported. hope this could help you. angman ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ustak · 2006-10-17 18:58 Yes, it did! Thanks for the informations.
