I want ask something, oh yeah sorry if i can't speak English very well becuase i'm student from Indonesia. I have some problem with Lazarus + UIB, my OS is Linux SuSE. I just make the the application n i move the UIB Database Component to that Form, i set database,username,password,charset UIB Database properties then i change the "connected properties" from false to true but ERROR, some message is coming "operating system direcive semget failed Permission denied Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes successful execution of subsequent statements Error Code: 53" Same as when i compiled the application n use button with procedure to change the connected properties, the error messages is come. Lazurs(any Lazarus User) have idea n solution for this error? You need to specify the host. For your local box "localhost" is correct.
