Form won't open in editor lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CanuckFlyboy · 2006-07-20 09:24 I'm redoing from scratch a database application I did in Delphi some time ago to learn lazarus.  I have a main form with a Notebook and 6 pages.  There are 2 or 3 groupboxes on each page.  All was going well until one time I start Lazarus and the form wouldn't load in the editor, the form.lfm would show but that was it.  After a while experimenting with things I found that adding a TLabel to a groupbox had caused the problem. I removed the TLAbels from the .lfm and I could load the form in the editor again. Starting Lazarus from a command line the last lines when the form works OK are: TMainIDE.DoLoadLFM A /home/don/LazarusDevel/Storage2/custform.pas IsPartOfProject=True SUCCESS: streaming lfm="/home/don/LazarusDevel/Storage2/custform.lfm" After adding a TLabel and starting Lazarus from command line I get: TMainIDE.DoLoadLFM A /home/don/LazarusDevel/Storage2/custform.pas IsPartOfProject=True Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkstyle.c: line 515 (gtk_style_attach): assertion `window != NULL' failed. [TJITComponentList.AddJITChildComponentFromStream] ERROR reading form stream of Class 'TCustomerForm' Error: Access violation plus a whole bunch more errors. This is on Suse10.1 on AMD platform - on my Suse10.1 Intel based laptop it works OK but on the laptop I have MySQL errors - that's another story. Any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CanuckFlyboy · 2006-07-22 12:41 Using today's source, lazarus-0.9.17-20060722-src.zip, has cured the problem.  As the daily warning says, Beware.
