For gtk 1.2 of course. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ptm · 2006-07-19 16:27 but i have then all installed. recently i tried to disable pixbuf with 'make clean all OPT=-dNoGdkPixBufLib' and i got: Compiling gtkglobals.pp gtkproc.pp(678,25) Error: Identifier not found "PGdkPixbuf" gtkproc.pp(906,1) Fatal: There were 1 errors compiling module, stopping gtkproc.pp(40,16) Fatal: Compilation aborted make[3]: ** [interfaces.ppu] Erro 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/lib/lazarus/lcl/interfaces/gtk' make[2]: ** [gtk_all] Erro 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/lib/lazarus/lcl/interfaces' make[1]: ** [interfaces] Erro 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/lib/lazarus/lcl' make: ** [lcl] Erro 2 (not sure if this helps) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NerdIII · 2007-08-06 17:20 Is this fixed in 0.9.23? Right now GTK1 looks like the only way produce stable applications under Linux and as much as I like to help improve the GTK2 code by reporting bugs the $IFDEFs for GKT1 should be sorted as well. This posting is over a year old and still Lazarus cannot be compiled for GTK without PixBuf? Oh well... maybe I should just have used a Linux distribution that still has gdk-pixbuf in the package tree. Where can I still download gdk-pixbuf for 1.2? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2007-08-06 17:24 No, it will require gdkpixbuf. This define was introduced years ago when gtk (version 1.2) did not necessarily include gdkpixbuf. Since then it has become standard and compiling without gdkpixbuf is not supported anymore.
