error: no file "/lcl/lclclasses.pp"... lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- adam · 2006-05-08 14:27 Hello. I have slackware. I have just run lazarus. When I place TButton (for example) on the form and then double click on it (in delphi there is routine created in editor and it is connected with event click) - in Lazarus an error occurs in a window: I can't find file "lcl/lclclasses.pp" I can only close this window and then there is something like this: "The component editor of class "TDefaultComponentEditor" has created the error: no method found (or something like this) I can press OK /lcl/lclclasses.pp(32,3) Error: nie znaleziono modułu (module is not found): Classes There is a file lclclasses in lazarus directory. So what is going on? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2006-05-08 18:05 Did you install the fpc sources and set the path to them in the environment options? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- adam · 2006-05-08 18:46 As soon as I run Lazarus I can see: The current Free Pascal source directory "/usr/local/lib/fpc/2.0.0/units/i386-linux" doesn't look correct. Choose OK to default The fpc is install from tar - so there shold be source as well (above 24mb download). A gave to Enviroment->Enviroment Options->Sources path the following directory: /usr/local/lib/fpc/2.0.0/units/i386-linux and here are some subdirectories like: fcl, forms, mysql, rtl and so on. Is this directory source? In rtl subdirectory there are some files with extensions: *.fpc, *.o, *.ppu, *.a But slackware doesn't have rpm and I am beginner and I can see hard to solve this problem. Where can I find completet lazarus with all fpc for slackware????? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2006-05-08 18:55 You can download the source from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/ showfiles.php?group_id=2174&package_id=54347&release_id=377243 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2006-05-08 18:56 BTW: Lazarus 0.9.12 and 0.9.14 needs at least fpc 2.0.2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- adam · 2006-05-08 22:40 Thanx a lot :!: It works.
