I'm new using linux

how to install lazarus-0.9.12-0.i386.rpm & fpc-2.0.2-0.i586.rpm on
knoppix 4.0.2

AFAIK, Knoppix is a live-cd - did you install it on your harddrive, or
are you booting it from the cd? if you didn't install it on your hd,
no use of installing Laz on. but if you did:

search this forum for installing on (K)Ubuntu - Knoppix and
Kubuntu/Ubuntu are both Debian-based distributions, and they both use
APT, so the instructions for Kubuntu/Ubuntu should be all you need.
