But the urpmi command give me a bad reply. I downloaded the libgdk lib form mandriva2006 and at the moment of installation of pixbuf2 i had a reply  missing dependence with other gdk lib. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2005-12-13 10:33 Just to be sure, you configured urpmi using the "easy urpmi" website? Are you executing urpmi as *root* on the terminal? Urpmi doesn´t show up for normal users and must be written lowercase. If you configured urpmi and still has problems with dependencies, you will need to download some packages manually and install them. There are websites with links to thousends of rpm packages. You can use them to find the missing packages. Go to google and type "rpm search". The first link is http://rpm.pbone.net/ Type the name of the missing file / package, set it to search for file or package name and hit the Search button. Now you will have a screen with lots and lots of rpm packages. Find one for Mandriva 2006. Mandriva 2005 will work also. If you can´t find a Mandrake package on the first screen go to the next. Some times they are on the first screen and some times they can be as far the 5th screen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matthijs · 2005-12-13 10:48 As an add on to sekel's message: If you go to advanced search options you can choose the distributions to search for. Only check the Mandrake distro's and you're set. It makes the result set a bit more managable.
