Hi there!

I get an error while linking Lazarus (as I rebuild it for Gnome):
Quote/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb1

But I have libddb1-compat installed...

can anyone help?

I think you need the libddb1-devel or the  libddb1-compat-devel or
so..

That's what I thought, too. But as I wanted to install that package,
Synaptic wanted to remove it... and the Lazarus-Project says only to
need the "libdb1-compat"...

For the other users: I forgot to mention, that I use Ubuntu Hoary
(5.04)
