Laz 0.9.7 fails to install under FC4 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jdtiede · 2005-07-15 15:47 I had 0.9.6 running but had so much trouble trying to install correct versions of sqlite and pgsql packages (dbs run from command line only). When I try to install 0.9.7-i386.rpm I get a failed dependency on fpcsrc-2.0.0-0. I have tried reinstalling that rpm as well as fpj-2.0.0-0-src.rpm; it is done in less than a second and there is no message that it has already been installed, which I do get when testing fpc-2.0.0-0 by attempting to reinstall. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2005-10-05 20:47 have you solve the issue? I have the same troubles! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc · 2005-10-06 09:38 0.9.6 is pretty old. 0.9.10 is out now (requires fpc 2.0.1) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- glober · 2005-10-08 17:04 Quote from: "Marc"0.9.6 is pretty old. 0.9.10 is out now (requires fpc 2.0.1) Is 0.9.10 officialy out now? I don't see any anouncements in the mailing list, except for some email about that it's not quite finished. Is FPC 2.0.0 also ok for 0.9.10? If not then it will be a major problem for me as 2.0.1 and 2.1.1 have a nasty bug reading large textfiles, http://www.freepascal.org/bugs/showrec.php3?ID=4134 , I was told its unreproducable, so it's hope and pray time for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2005-10-09 11:59 From Mattias from the Mailling list: Lazarus 0.9.10 is now available for download at: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89339 Changes from 0.9.8 to 0.9.10 ============================ Using new stable fpc 2.0.1.  Lazarus still works with 2.0.0. ......... So Lazarus still works with 2.0.0 and 0.9.10 is finished =) Great news. I specially liked the changes section, there is quite a lot of important improvements.
