In Kylix, Borland thoughtfully provided Linux equivalents to Win API
functions such as GetModuleHandle, FindResource, GetResourceSize and
LoadResource (in the System and SysUtils units). These were useful for
working with a Win32-type version resource that's part of the
executable.

Is there anything like this in Lazarus?

I'm working with Mac OS X, but I assume the functions would be
available there too.
