fpc 2.0 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- baris · 2005-06-22 00:03 Hi Is there any lazarus rpm for fpc-2.0.0 aviable.(sorry about my english. ) Best Regards. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Giuseppe Ridinò · 2005-06-22 06:18 You can find it at http://sourceforge.net/projects/lazarus Lazarus 0.9.6 is the latest ufficial release working with fpc 2.0. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2005-06-22 07:18 Quote from: "pepecito"Lazarus 0.9.6 is the latest ufficial release working with fpc 2.0. This is incorrect. Lazarus 0.9.6 works with fpc 1.9.8 and doesn't work with fpc 2.0.0. The current cvs version works with fpc 2.0.0 and so will the upcoming lazarus 0.9.8. Before release we want to fix some bugs that have crept in since lazarus 0.9.6, trying to make lazarus 0.9.8 as stable as lazarus 0.9.6. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SComps · 2005-07-09 18:45 when installing the rpm lazarus-0.9.7-fpc_2.0.0_0.i386.rpm, I'm getting a request for an fpcsrc rpm that doesn't exist anywhere as near as I can tell. --> Processing Dependency: fpcsrc >= 2.0.0-0 for package: lazarus --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Missing Dependency: fpcsrc >= 2.0.0-0 is needed by package lazarus If anyone has a resolution for this I'd appreciate it.  I've tried googling for the rpm, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matthijs · 2005-07-10 07:38 Quote from: "SComps"when installing the rpm lazarus-0.9.7-fpc_2.0.0_0.i386.rpm, I'm getting a request for an fpcsrc rpm that doesn't exist anywhere as near as I can tell. [...] You could try install the latest release first (lazarus 0.9.6 and fpc 1.9. and then upgrade with rpm. Or you could upgrade to cvs version after this installation by using cvs for lazarus and svn for fpc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2005-07-10 13:10 ahhhh...   no thanks, but I appreciate the quick response.  I just got fpc working properly on this box after about 3 days of chasing down documentation trail.  I don't want to break it again. Thanks anyway.  good luck with the project. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc · 2005-07-11 09:21 If you have a working fpc, then you only need to get the latest sources for lazarus (through cvs) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2005-07-16 06:33 The latest CVS sources as of Last week don't work quite right, when you drop a component on a form it complains about lclclasses not being found, if you don't add any code it compiles fine. It also does not seem to like the FPC 2.0 directory structure and constantly complains the source dir does not look right.
