Problem on installation of the Interbase components.Suse 9.1

Hi,

  I'm with problems on installation of the Interbase componentes
(/usr/share/lazarus/components/interbase/interbase.lpk) on my Suse
9.1. When I tried to install the interbase component, it was retorned
the following error message:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgds

After that, the lazarus don't worked anymore.
How can I solve that problem?

Most probably you have not installed firebird or interbase on your
computer. The best way to solve this is:

# cd /usr/share/lazarus
# make

This will make lazarus again without packages. Then start lazarus and
via components -> package graph, you right click on interbase package
and click uninstall. Then choose build lazarus.
