Lazarus and Ubuntu

I installed Lazarus in Ubuntu 5.04 but the font size of the object
inspector, editor menus, etc. are too big, works fine but is very
ugly. Where can I change the size?
(I am looking for an option inside Lazarus itself, not in gnome
preferences)

I don't know.  But how did you install?

I downloaded the RPM files, used alien to convert to deb and installed
those.  I then installed any libaries that it complained about when I
tried to run it.

I then got strange errors and realised that the debs didn't install
the fpc.conf.  I created that manually and now everything seems fine.

Would be good if laz was in their repository...
