Lazarus killing X-server after starting

Hello!

I installed Lazarus 0.9.6 to Mandrake 10.1 Official (4 CD) with all
requirement. I started it normally about 5 times.  From next start,
Lazarus killed X-server if I probe to use it.  I don't get any useable
error message  (There is 'NOTE: ...'). I cleaned ~/.lazarus directory
and reinstalled Lazarus, but I haven't got any good result. What is
the problem? Thanks.

Install FPC 1.9.8 and get Lazarus from CVS, make sure all required
Linux packages have been installed and try running from the console in
GNOME or KDE, maybe XFCE too.

Hi!

I installed it from CVS source, but it can't solve my problem. Lazarus
likes to kill my X.

It can't be just Lazarus, maybe you have a buggy library like
gtkpixbuf or glib, maybe you don't have it at all, i Installed Lazarus
on more distros including MDK10 without such problems ...
