Install lazarus on Suse 9.2 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- knightcoder · 2005-03-02 00:20 Hi, I just installed Lazarus 0.9.6 on Suse 9.2, but when linking I always get this message "libgdk-pixbuf not found". I searched the faq and tried to rebuild lazarus with "make clean all OPT=-dNoGdkPixBufLib" and still get that error! I know I installed every required rpm and as Suse installs the gnome libs on /opt/gnome I tried to change this on the fpc.cfg file but still no luck. Any help would be great. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc · 2005-03-02 10:01 I think you forgot to install libgdk-pixbuf (or the devel package of it) See FAQ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- knightcoder · 2005-03-02 10:21 I did install al the required packages. At least when I instaled lazarus rpm it did not require any additional packages. But its also strange that fpc ignores the option -dNoGdkPixBufLib. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Almindor · 2005-03-03 12:34 are you sure you have the DEVEL I stress DEVEL pixbuf package? If so, check your library paths (echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH and see /etc/ld.so.conf(or somesuch) ) Many times things get installed into /usr/local/lib but the system doesn't add it to the lib path ---------------------------------------------------------------------- knightcoder · 2005-03-04 10:29 Thanks! It's all working know.
