Problem with glib

Hello, I've installed Lazarus and FPC, but i don't compile the
projects because this error:
/home/gunman/project1.lpr(1,1) Fatal: Can't find unit glib
I've installed all glib packs but Lazarus don't compile the projects.
If you found some error execuse me, but english isn't my native
language.
Please help me...

See FAQ:  I receive an error during the linking that states
/usr/bin/ld can't find -l<some lib>
