Can't compile lazarus

I am a beginner in linux staff and moreover i'm french so please
forgive  my english..

I have a mandrake 10.0 for AMD64 . the makefile gives me an error :

Linking ./lazarus
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
/usr/lib/fpc/1.9.5/units/linux/rtl/cprt21.o when searching for
/usr/lib/fpc/1.9.5/units/linux/rtl/cprt21.o
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find /usr/lib/fpc/1.9.5/units/linux/rtl/cprt21.o
lazarus.pp(97,1) Error: Error while linking
Closing script ./ppas.sh
make[1]: *** [lazarus] Erreur 1

[root@192 lazarus]#

I don't know why it can't be linked.

i have the same prob with ./ppas.sh

I don't know if anyone uses the 64bit version of FreePascal compiler
with Lazarus but try getting it from the FPC site and recompile
Lazarus.
I'm not sure if it will work but it's better than nothing
Please tell me if it worked.
