gtk2 howto ?

Can somebody please describe how to build a gtk2 application with
lazarus ?

i installed lazarus 0.9.2 with fpc 1.9.5 from source

i loaded gtk2pascal 1.0.6, compiled and copied ppu to units folder
i386/linux/gtk2

i added in compile options unit : ./lcl/interfaces/($LCLWidgetType)/

result:Can't find unit GTKWINAPIWINDOW in gtk2int.pas

i added in compile options unit: ./lcl/interfaces/gtk/

result:Identifier not found Laz_GTK_OBJECT_CONSTRUCTED

Please help me building a gtk2 app !

I think you don´t need to install anything to write gtk2 apps with
Lazarus. One option is to Just use gtk2 bindings available on gtk2 lcl
interface.

the unit lazarus/components/trayicon/wsgtk2trayicon.pas uses gtk2 a
lot, so you can see what gtk2 units are there and put them on your
uses clause.
