What do I do next ??? Any help appreciated. Lew ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aspi · 2004-08-24 09:55 Well, this is quite simple, except some details, depending on which release you're yousing. after your first atempt to install fpc and Lazarus (I think you've used rpm, don't you?) you got the message that there're faild dependencies. that's not about fpc-stuff (if you would install the two fpc-rpms on their own, there should me no failiure) the lazarus rpm needs another rpm, this is what you've read about "failed dependencies". you need to download all the rpms from the list, so as gdk-pixbuf-devel and so on. until there are now messages. teh thing with the warnign about the key... there're some signatures to chekc, wheather the downlaod was successfully done, keys. somtimes there are no keys, and thats the message you got, don't worry about it. if someone of the more expierenced guys here knows it better, please correct me... I self got some troubles with the latest version of lazarus, on another topic I'll gonna ask the others about it. good luck, hopefully it helped you....
