error while recompiling lazarus (while install components)

Hi!
I'm a fresh lazarus newbie  ... i switched to lazarus because of many
kylix3pro problems..
So, here is my first problem

I tried to install mysql support in lazarus (components-
openpackagefile-compile-install).
the compiling for the mysql part works fine, but the recompile of
lazarus failed:

ok, finally i found the problem. the mysql package dont like mysql v4
... so i simple downgrade to v3

libmysql10-3.23.56-1.5.C21mdk.i586.rpm
libmysql10-devel-3.23.56-1.5.C21mdk.i586.rpm
MySQL-3.23.56-1.5.C21mdk.i586.rpm
MySQL-client-3.23.56-1.5.C21mdk.i586.rpm

Its not the best way, i know, but it works.
anyone may fix this problems with v4 ...
