Starting a Project isn't possible ?!

I have installed Lazarus and FPC on SuSE Linux 9. I can start Lazarus.
But when I try to run a Project, I get the following message:
Fatal: Can't find unit INTERFACES
I've already tried some posts but nothing works : - (
I think the problem is a wrong FPC-path.
