Problem with Lazarus under Knoppix/Debian

Hallo,

problem with Lazarus / Knoppix

I have installed fpc-1.9.0 and it works fine.
Then I have compile Lazarus. SRC from lazarus-040307.tgz.

If I wont start lazarus

I get follow messages:

TDefinepool.CreateFPCTemplate: Failed to Create pipe.
Could not create Define Template for Free Pascal Sources.

the screen changed to black
and Linux/Knoppix logged out.

whats wrong????????? :-((( 

please help.

Can you try the 1.9.3 version of FPC ?

fpc 1.9.0 has a serious bug and is completely useless for compiling
lazarus. Use at least 1.9.2 or better a recent 1.9.3 snapshot.

Thanks to all! The problem was, so seem it, was a harware-failure.

Now it will work.
