We have a thread for depressing movies. Let's have a thread for movies
that make you feel happy to balance things.

Define happy, I sometimes feel happy while watching films, some people
would call depressive.

>Define happy
I think that singing in the rain is a pretty good definition of a
"happy movie" Lain

I mean what kind of happiness are you talking about? A comedy -
laughing or fulfilled, euphoric etc? Happy is in my opinion a too
shallow word to be able to recommend some good movies. I ask, because
I can't think of any happy film I've watched.

I don't know what exactly counts as a happy movie, but shoplifters
made me happy.

That's the point of that scene, he's corrupting an extremely honest
and innocent song about love and happiness by singing it while
performing an abhorrent act.

To name a few: Mon Oncle, Playtime, Monsieur Hulot's holiday.
