I only know Touhou. Are others great? Which should I play? I've heard
good things about Ikaruga. Is any available for Linux?

Also, is there any story-driven one that is designed for moving on
after every level you beat? In Touhou you have to start from the
beginning every time you lose, which is fine, but I prefer the other
approach.
