       The Case Against Computers
       A Systemic Critique

Technological advances are sweeping through our culture like a
virulent plague, changing and devastating peoples rights and
privileges. Individual freedoms are slowly being eroded in favor of
corporate and technology-driven interests. Similarly, privacy is
increasingly seen as a threat to governments and other bureaucratic
power bases. The future of our world's resources, human and material,
is in jeopardy. Our panel will critique computers from these as well
as other perspectives. (59:34) Chair - Jerry Mander, Author
