Today I wanted to try to get some news out of the middle east.  I was unable
to find an internet stream of a station in Iran but I did find a few nearby
in Saudi Arabia.  Of course it was in Arabic and I don't understand this
language so I have recorded a few minutes of it and fed it into whisper
(a Linux app by openai) which was *supposed* to translate it but instead
just ended up transcribing it.  But I was able to copy/paste that Arabic
transcription into Google translate and get English.

Keep in mind this is a far-from-perfect translation and/or transcription,
for example when they say "Donzola", I think they mean Venezuela, but 
maybe they're using the term Donzola to refer to what happened recently
in Venezuela, or more likely it's just a mis-translation.  

Here it is:

advisors. Did Washington and Trump expect anything different, especially since
Iran was threatening on American television just one day before this war began?
Abbas Araqchi was saying on CBS that every base in the region would be a target
for Iranian retaliation. But there's no need to discuss that as long as the
diplomatic situation remains as it is. So yes, energy prices are a burden for
the Americans and the US administration in this particular circumstance. Thank

new Iranian Supreme Leader, how it was received by the Revolutionary Guard and
the Iranian army, what statements were issued in response, and what these
various bodies intend to do. I also ask you, Yasser, about the situation on
the ground in Tehran and the various provinces of Iran.

Regarding the statements issued by military and political authorities, it is
clear that following the statement by Iranian Supreme Leader Moshtaba Khamenei,
all relevant institutions and bodies took what they could from it. Iranian
President Masoud Qazashkian and the Iranian Interior Minister clearly
emphasized the importance of popular participation in the Iranian street
protests.

...This is the point that Supreme Leader Moshtaba Khamenei clearly emphasized,
urging Iranians to participate in larger and more widespread demonstrations
than in previous days. This underscores the Iranian presidency's and the
Interior Minister's emphasis on a strong public presence, particularly
regarding Quds Day, which they intend to be different from previous years given
the current internal challenges.

The Iranian Interior Minister affirms that the country is prepared to confront
all conspiracies, just as it has thwarted them in the past. He also highlighted
the role of the internal security forces in supporting the Iranian regime and
fulfilling their duties, in accordance with directives from the Supreme Leader,
Moshtaba Khamenei.

He further notes the specific emphasis from the Iranian Armed Forces General
Staff that the country will increase and intensify its strikes and targeting of
the Israeli heartland and its supporting American bases. The statement
addressed the American-Israeli aggression against Iranian territory, asserting
that Iran would avenge its martyrs, as stated in the declaration. This was an
attempt to emphasize the continuation of this level of aggression, which was
naturally confirmed by Supreme Leader Moshtaba Khamenei. Furthermore, the
relevant authority regarding the Strait of Hormuz, specifically the commander
of the Revolutionary Guard's naval forces, Ali Reza Teng Siri, confirmed in a
brief statement that these naval forces would maintain their control over the
Strait of Hormuz, given the ongoing threats against the country and the
attempts by the United States, Israel, and some other countries to break this
rule. At the same time, this decision will remain binding on the Revolutionary
Guard's military forces in these waters, and they will continue to maintain
their authority over it. On the other hand, the Iranian army, in a statement,
announced its full compliance with the demands emphasized by the Supreme Leader
and affirmed its support through consistent decisions and coordination in
military operations both domestically and internationally, particularly
concerning its dealings with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. (Yasser only
made a hasty statement in Khamenei's statement.) There are indications of
