Some bug fixes caused by recent chat archiving:
* When a message is ...
** Deleted
** Edited
** Re-assigned re-number (/rere)
** combined with another message
Then this change is reflected in a cache.

* When a message is edited or deleted the notification no longer shows the message number because it might not be the same for every user.  If one user has archiving turned off then the message number in the notification will be incorrect.  The chat message will still get updated/deleted but the wording of the notification was wrong (potentially).

Also:
* After ANSI auto-detection it no longer tells you that it's (temporarily) defaulting to 80 columns.  It is doing that, it's just not telling you.

* The welcome message "type /? for help (DON'T FORGET THE SLASH!!!!)." no longer screams "DON'T FORGET THE SLASH!!!".  Long long ago the slash for this command became optional so no need to yell at anyone :)
