The Races in Nemesis will be standardized in a time. That means, if you need let's say a lizard for your castle, you clone a monster and set the race to "lizard", set its level and then set an adjective-string, perhaps "green-spotted". That would be all. The race "lizard" will include that it gets statistics right for a lizard of this level. Note, that you will not be able to set the stats for the monsters anymore, just perhaps, if you want to have a weak lizard, a relative add_stat(5,-10) [strength being the fifth statistic] or something like that. Then, as next step, there will be special features for the monsters. That means that there are some races of monsters, which are magic-resistant, and there are some that will be affected only by magic. Further, with a flag in the weapons, there are races only to be hit with bludgeoning weapons like skeletons, others like jellies that are affected only by fire and others, like vampires, that are only damaged by magical weapons. There are, too monsters with special attacks, such as breathe fire (red dragons) or swallow opponent, ... and so on.
