Committee Accomplishments for fiscal year 2004

 Youth attended some of our meetings and we had outreach to kids to get their input. 

 The Family Planning process was flowcharted. 

 A successful presentation was developed, which built up community awareness of our teen pregnancy problem. 

 We got the schools to the table. 

 Maria connected with the New Mexico Teen Pregnancy Coalition. 

Committee Recommendations to the Council:

 We recommend that the Council consider the need to coordinate things or not so as not to be overwhelming to others.  We do not want to be falling over each other getting to certain groups.

 We recommend that the committee or the Council develop a teen group that works on issues around reducing teen pregnancy among their peers.
