379 ** Rexx: The King of Programming ** I am attracted to Rexx because it is available on my antique DOS laptop, my Palm IIIxxe, and my various Linux/BSD boxes. On the old DOS boxes there is a wonderful thing called REXXPC88, which was actually an extension to the COMMAND.COM shell. It is like having Rexx embedded in the PC. It is very old but is working quite good. It revitalizes a roomful of old equipment. Good on DOS 3.3, which I have a license for. I use Jaxo Rexx for the Palm. It seems a good match for the older Palm Pilots... Of course, for Linux, I just use Regina. Except for Regina, everything I tend to use here is really outdated software and has no support of any kind anymore. If you tried to mention REXXPC88 on a Rexx discussion board, I would guess that you would get a lot of confusion, or a "what the..." from a grizzled old timer. I like the old days... 0
