Introduction

The following locations in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are served by 
the University Libraries: University Park Campus, seventeen Commonwealth 
Educational System libraries, Penn State-Behrend, Penn State Harrisburg, 
and Penn State Great Valley. At University Park Campus, the humanities and 
social sciences collection, the Arts Library, and the Life Sciences Library 
are maintained in Pattee Library. Other subject collections are housed in 
the following branch libraries--Architecture Library (Engineering Unit C), 
Earth and Mineral Sciences (Deike), Education Library (Rackley), 
Engineering (Hammond), Mathematics (McAllister), and Physical Sciences (
Davey). Pollock Library provides a small collection and study space in the 
Pollock residence hall area.
