A standard, 6-person transporter.  It appears to be able to transport passengers anywhere they want to go. There is a sign on it which reads:

	The transporter is activated by voice command.  It takes orders
	in the form: "transport <object> to <destination>.  Note that,
	because you must say the order, that some of the ususal pronoun
	substitution may not work... "here", for example, is not always
	understood.  If <object> is left out, it is assumed you wish to
	transport yourself.  If to <destination> is left out, it is
	assumed that you wish to transport the object to this room.

	Note that the transporter can also be controlled remotely by
	using a emergency transponder, or (when they are finished) a com
	panel or communicator.
