As you examine this funny little creature you realize that you're looking a pheonix, of all things, right in the eye. Strangely enough, he's not that sizeable -- probably no more than a foot in height, while his tailfeathers give him a length of over twice that. His plumage is bright and bold -- comprised of more shades of red, orange and yellow than there are names for. Each feather is tipped and rimmed in a silky gold that flashes and sparkles regally in the light, reflecting all the other fiery tones of his feathers to create a glowing halo of golden sunsets and flickering flames. Though his appearance may be bright, bold and royally regal, his demeanor is not. His big, luminous sapphire eyes are timid and he smiles at you shyly, clicking his golden beak in greeting.
Please try not to frighten him, or he might be forced to hide in someone's hair! o.0
