A BILL
To extend the deadline for granting posthumous citizenship to
individuals who die while on active-duty service in the Armed Forces.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Posthumous Citizenship Restoration
Act of 2001''.
SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF DEADLINE.
Section 329A(c)(1)(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8
U.S.C. 1440-1(c)(1)(A)) is amended by striking ``this section,'' and
inserting ``the Posthumous Citizenship Restoration Act of 2001,''.
