Mr. Rohrabacher submitted the following resolution; which was referred
to the Committee on the Judiciary

RESOLUTION
To provide for the consideration by the United States Court of Claims
of a bill for compensation, and for other purposes.
Resolved, That the bill for the compensation of persons suffering
injury or property loss as a result of the destruction of a
pharmaceutical plant in the Sudan by the United States on August 20,
1998, now pending in the House of Representatives is hereby referred to
the United States Claims Court; that the Chief Judge of the United
States Claims Court shall proceed with the same in accordance with the
provision of sections 1492 and 2509 of title 28, United States Code;
and that the court shall file its reports within 18 months from the
dates of filing of the claims on behalf of such persons in the court
giving such findings of fact and conclusions of law therein.
