and Mr. Neal of Massachusetts) introduced the following bill; which was
referred to the Committee on Resources

A BILL
To authorize appropriations for the John H. Chafee Blackstone River
Valley National Heritage Corridor in Massachusetts and Rhode Island,
and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.
Section 10 of Public Law 99-647 (16 U.S.C. 461 note) is amended by
striking subsection (b) and inserting the following:
``(b) Development Funds.--There is authorized to be appropriated to
carry out section 8(c) for the period of fiscal years 2003 through 2006
not more than $10,000,000, to remain available until expended.''.
