A BILL
To amend the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001 to delete
the collateral compensation limitation.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. REPEAL OF COLLATERAL COMPENSATION LIMITATION.
(a) Collateral Source Information.--Clause (iii) of section
405(a)(2)(B) of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001 (49
U.S.C. 40101 note) is repealed.
(b) Repeal of Collateral Compensation Limitation.--
(1) In general.--Section 405(b)(6) of the September 11th
Victim Compensation Fund of 2001 (49 U.S.C. 40101 note) is
repealed.
(2) Application of the september 11th victim compensation
fund of 2001.--The compensation program established under the
September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001 (49 U.S.C.
40101 note) shall be administered as if section 405(b)(6) of
that Act had not been enacted.
