 To amend chapter 142 of title 10, United States Code, to increase the 
 value of the assistance that the Secretary of Defense may furnish to 
   carry out certain procurement technical assistance programs which 
                     operate on a Statewide basis.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. INCREASE OF ASSISTANCE LIMITATION REGARDING PROCUREMENT 
              TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.

    Section 2414(a)(1) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by 
striking ``$300,000'' and inserting ``$600,000''.
