                  In the Senate of the United States,

                      December 20 (legislative day, December 18), 2001.
    Resolved, That the bill from the House of Representatives (H.R. 
1892) entitled ``An Act to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to 
provide for the acceptance of an affidavit of support from another 
eligible sponsor if the original sponsor has died and the Attorney 
General has determined for humanitarian reasons that the original 
sponsor's classification petition should not be revoked.'', do pass 
with the following

                               AMENDMENT:

    Page 3, line 4, after ``law,'' insert: sister-in-law, brother-in-
law,
