A BILL
To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to authorize funding
for the State water pollution control revolving fund program for fiscal
years 2002 through 2006.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Clean Water State Revolving Fund
Enhancement Act of 2001''.
SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.
(a) In General.--Section 607 of the Federal Water Pollution Control
Act (33 U.S.C. 1387) is amended by striking ``the following sums:''and
all that follows through the period at the end of paragraph (5) and
inserting ``$5,400,000,000 per fiscal year for each of fiscal years
2002 through 2006.''.
(b) Conforming Amendment.--Section 602(b)(2)(6) of such Act (33
U.S.C. 1382(b)(2)(6)) is amended by striking ``before fiscal year
1995''.
