A BILL
To amend the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act to provide for an
increase in the authorization of appropriations for community-based
family resource and support grants under that Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. INCREASED AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR COMMUNITY-
BASED FAMILY RESOURCE AND SUPPORT GRANTS.
Section 210 of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act is
amended by striking ``, $66,000,000 for fiscal year 1997'' and all that
follows and inserting ``$66,000,000 for fiscal year 2002, $76,000,000
for fiscal year 2003, $86,000,000 for fiscal year 2004, $96,000,000 for
fiscal year 2005, and $106,000,000 for fiscal year 2006.''.
