A BILL
To provide permanent appropriations to the Radiation Exposure
Compensation Trust Fund to make payments under the Radiation Exposure
Compensation Act (42 U.S.C. 2210 note).
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. RADIATION EXPOSURE COMPENSATION TRUST FUND APPROPRIATIONS.
(a) Short Title.--This Act may be cited as the ``Paul Hicks
Memorial Act''.
(b) Appropriations.--There are appropriated, out of any money in
the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the fiscal year ending
September 30, 2002, and each fiscal year thereafter, such sums as may
be necessary to the Radiation Exposure Compensation Trust Fund for the
purpose of making payments to eligible beneficiaries under the
Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (42 U.S.C. 2210 note).
