To increase the amounts authorized to be appropriated to carry out the 
                National Sea Grant College Program Act.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``National Sea Grant College Program 
Authorization Enhancement Act''.

SEC. 2. REAUTHORIZATION OF NATIONAL SEA GRANT COLLEGE PROGRAM.

    Section 212(a)(1) of the National Sea Grant College Program Act (33 
U.S.C. 1131(a)(1)) is amended by adding ``and'' after the semicolon at 
the end of subparagraph (C), and by striking subparagraphs (D) and (E) 
and inserting the following:
                    ``(D) $100,000,000 for fiscal year 2002 and each 
                fiscal year thereafter.''.
